TSA Armed Security Officer for Private Aircraft
September 11th changed aviation security in many ways. In particular, Washington National Airport (DCA), which permits flights to arrive from ‘gateway airports’ daily, now are obligated to have an Armed Security Officer (ASO) on board for all flights.
Special Response Corporation has specially trained personnel who can board private aircrafts as ASOs. Each of our ASOs is an expert in law enforcement and has been authorized by the TSA.
